Introduction

Site at a GlanceData loggers can collect thousands of readings, but those readings are  essentially useless until they are processed and presented graphically. How can  you do that quickly and efficiently? Slope Indicator has developed two  affordable answers: GraphX and MultiMon.

MultiMon and GraphX are programs that process and display readings  recorded by data loggers. The programs are usually supplied as part of a  complete data acquisition solution that includes sensors, data acquisition  equipment, and data logger programming.

MultiMon is designed for projects that require real-time processing of  data. It features fully automatic updating of the display, pop-up alarms, and  multiple views of the site. It can also generate trend plots and replay  historical data.

GraphX is designed for projects that require efficient, but not  real-time processing of readings. It generates trend plots and can replay  historical data.

Both programs run on Windows 95/98/NT computers and are network compatible,  so that data can be distributed easily to those who need it.

Site Views

MultiMon PlotMultiMon and GraphX can display sensor readings superimposed onto plan  views and section views of the site. The background graphics for these views are  created from site plans, drawings, or photographs.

If a reading exceeds an alarm limit, an alarm message pops up, and the sensor  changes color to indicate one of four alarm conditions. Clicking on a sensor  pops up a five-day trend plot.

Profile Plots

Both programs can generate profile plots for linked sensors, such as in-place  inclinometers and beam sensors. MultiMon updates up to 50 profile plots in near  real time. GraphX shows profile plots only in replay mode.

Trend Plots

GraphX Trend PlotBoth programs can generate trend plots of historical data. Plots can  be zoomed into, printed, or pasted into other applications. User settings, such  as sensor selection and scales, can be saved for reuse.
