81001 Universal Signal Averaging Resistivity Meter GTR-2
The new resistivity meter GTR-2 combines an excellent depth penetration with a relatively low output current. It combines a
numerical stacking of consecutive readings with automatic current reversal to produce a high accuracy output.
The fast sampling and continuous calculation of the running average
performed by a sophisticated microprocessor allow virtual signal enhancement. This technique is generally recognised to be the best method to eliminate SP and other noises. The GTR-2
also controls the SP level within each measurement cycle in order to take into account possible variations occuring during the measurement.
Thanks to a highcut filter and to cycle
periods calculated to reject industrial frequencies, the GTR-2 can extract coherent signals from an apparently random background.

Display
As illustrated in the example below, the operator has permanent control over the measurement parameters, including the
apparent resistivity calculated for a K factor previously entered through the keyboard. The operator can follow the evolution of these parameters during the measurement
which can be completed immediately when results obtained are satisfactory.
Memory / RS-232 serial interface
Every parameter displayed can be saved using automatic sequential numbering after
each measurement is completed. Memory size: 1000 measurements.
Data transfer capability to a PC computer via RS232 serial interface is included.
Simplicity of operation
After a few minutes, you’ll become familiar with the instrument. Choose the mode and introduce
the K factor, then press the ‘’MEASURE’’ key. Write the measurement in a notebook or enter it into the memory.
