    • The GTE-6/1 converter is a DC power source designed to inject current for geo-electrical surveys. For an output voltage of 600V, it is lighter, more compact than a set of dry batteries of the same voltage and moreover, it is rechargeable.

    It has an autonomy of several hundred current injections prior to recharging, which is quite sufficient for one working day in the field.

    The output voltage is adjustable continuously from 25 to 600V enabling to adapt the injection current in an optimal way, depending on the soil conductivity and the length of arrays.

     

    The GTE-6/1 (200 W) has a built-in battery, but can also be powered by an external car battery in case of low internal battery. The GTE-6/2 (400 W) has no internal battery and must be powered by an external battery. Both models come in a ruggedized, waterproof case.
