The most popular Mount Sopris winch system can be configured with several types and lengths of logging cable.
The standard 4MXA system includes 500 meters of 3.17 mm single conductor geophysical wireline, or can be equipped with 800 meters of 2.54 mm single conductor wireline.
4MXB systems are designed to handle up to 305 meters of standard 4.76 mm four-conductor wireline or coaxial cable and up to 250 meters of 6.35 mm coax or seven-conductor wireline.
4MXC winches hold up to 1000 meters of rugged 3.17 mm single-conductor cable.
All Mount Sopris MX winches feature high resolution optical depth encoders, electronic braking systems, emergency hand-cranks, automatic level winds, and sturdy shipping cases. These lightweight,
small-footprint, high-capacity winches are the industry standard.
