GTR-2 resistivity meter : a success story
Over the years, the GTR-2 resistivity meter has become a popular instrument and is now sold around the world. The following story illustrates this statement.
In July 1999, we sold a complete set of geo-electrical equipment to the Bureau De Leon in the Philippines. Seven months later, De Leon ordered another complete similar set to be used by the
Mines and Geosciences Bureau of Tuguegarao City, a city located in the Northeastern part of the country. The primary application for which our equipment was needed was groundwater investigation. It
was also used for landfill site assessment. The GTR-2 has been performing well despite high temperatures.
