geotrade was founded in 1985 by Pierre-Alain Auberson. From it's offices in Yverdon, Switzerland the company initially supplied borehole loggers into the North African market. In the meantime it has grown into a company supplying a wide range of both geophysical and geotechnical instruments.
In 2009 the company was aquired by MSI Measuring Solutions International, headquartered in Othmarsingen, Switzerland.
